Chocolate Sugar Cookie Recipe

Makes approx. 4 dozen

 This is the recipe I use with the regular sugar cookies to make the classic chocolate and vanilla pinwheel or checkerboard cookies. The texture of this recipe is "chompy". It gives the best crunch and is a delight with a cold glass of milk. They are perfect cookies to decorate. For more information, go to: Cookie Decorating 101.
