Red Cherry Icing Recipe

 		Decheart.gif (8687 bytes)This cookie is decorated using the cherry flavored icing and white royal icing with 1 teaspoon almond extract. White sparkling sugar is on the white side of the heart.

Combine:

2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoons almond extract
2 teaspoons meringue powder
Enough maraschino cherry juice to get desired consistency.

Frost cooled cookies and enjoy!
For a deeper red, color with red gel color. It will still have its great cherry flavor.
