1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Do not grease cookie sheets. This cookie bakes best on parchment paper. 2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside. 3. Cream brown sugar, butter and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture until just combined. Stir in morsels and nuts. 4. Drop 1/2 cup dough onto ungreased baking sheet; spreads to 4-inch circle. Repeat with remaining dough. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely. |
