Butter Mint Candy Recipe

Makes about 200

These butter mints will literally melt in your mouth. 
bullet 1/2 cup butter, softened
bullet 1 tsp. salt
bullet 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
bullet Around 7 cups sifted sonfectioners' sugar (sift and then measure)
bullet color (food coloring) & flavor (Candy oils work best or extracts)
bullet some granulated sugar

Cream butter and salt together until smooth. Blend in milk. Add Conf. sugar, 1 cup at a time until unsticky to touch. Knead in color and flavor. Shape into ball, size of mold, roll in granulated sugar then press into mold firmly. Flex mint out and place on serving tray. Mint will dry and stick slightly in place. Keep dough covered while not using.
