Classic Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

By Tami Smith

Makes 2 3/4 cups, enough to fill and frost 2, 8- or 9-inch layers

>>Refrigerate<<

This is a basic, all purpose frosting, especially great with a Homemade Classic Carrot Cake. It is very soft and it must be kept it in the refrigerator, even after frosting the cake. In fact, if you would like to pipe a border with it, then you need to refrigerate for several hours and beat it cold before piping.
