I know that Christmas is a big time for
baking. From experience, I know that it is also a big time for
me, as well. I answer hundreds of
baking questions during

For best
results, start your holiday baking with fresh boxes of
baking soda, baking powder and yeast
-- I always do ! Always
hang an accurate or new oven thermometer in your oven and keep
it there at all times. A lot of baking mistakes come from an
inaccurate oven temperature. |

Christmas cookies make
wonderful gifts, and cookie
baking and decorating is a special event for some families.
Most baked cookies can be frozen decorated or undecorated, or
you can freeze your cookie dough now for baking and decorating
just before the holidays. Look for plenty of cookie recipes,
below plus others ! |

Candy
always makes a welcome gift or take-along party food, and there are so
many special treats you can make for the holidays. Many recipes are
steeped in tradition. For example,
