Do you know of a recipe to make "gum paste" or a reasonable facimile. I need to make approx 100 "seashells" but true gum paste is going to be much too expensive. I have candy molds in the shape of sea shells, but chocolate will be too expensive also. Whatever I use does not have to be tasty enough to eat, but want to use something that would not effect the food stuff they will be placed on. (I am using to devorate a wedding cake and other food-stuff on the table. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
