Hi--I've agreed to make my brother's wedding cake, and I have some ideas, but I'm not sure how to bring it all together. I've planned a 3 tier sponge cake with lemon curd and raspberry puree for filling with buttercream (egg whites) frosting. I'd like to make flowers and such for decorations, but I'm new at this and would like to use decorator kits and flower cutters like Wilton makes. The trouble is I am also a vegetarian, and I see most of the fondant/gum paste recipes have gelatin. Do you have any suggestions or have a recipe I could make for gum paste that does not use gelatin? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
