It sounds like weevils. They come from flour and grains or even pastas etc and once you get them, they are hard to get out. Your best bet is to check ALL you pantry items and store everything in sealed glass jars or sealed plastic containers. If anything is infested throw it out and scrub EVERYTHING with a bleach solution or Clorox product. Then only buy what you use, and don't keep pastas and flour for long. Also, for prevention I buy cheap bay leaves from a bulk spice store and scatter them around the pantry shelves and I even place them in the containers with my pastas. I have read that this helps keep critters away and so far I haven't had a buggie problem since moving in here 5 years ago! Tami
