industrial grade sugar for hard candy

I make candy apples, and I have problems with the candy becoming sticky quick and the candy liquifing after 2 days. I was told once that there is a industrial grade sugar that the candy companies use to keep this from happening. is this true?? If so, can you put me in touch with someone who can sell this stuff to me. Thanks
